SinnenGreen & Associates, Inc. was founded by W.J. Southward and Robert P. Johnson under the name W.J. Southward & Associates in 1976, with four appraisers and two support staff employees.
In 1987 the company was purchased by partners Matthew D. Sinnen and Darrell C. Green under the name SinnenGreen & Associates. From 1992 to 2008 the firm opened offices from Charleston, South Carolina, all the way up to Northern Virginia to provide the highest quality appraisals up and down the East Coast.
In 2014 SinnenGreen & Associates started its commercial appraisal division under partner and MAI James Burok. Today the firm has 12 offices across Virginia, North Carolina, Mississippi and Florida, covering Maryland, West Virginia and Washington, DC, and serves mortgage lenders, bankers, realtors, attorneys and homeowners.
We also love to give back to the community, and sit on several boards for state and local appraiser, lender and realtor associations.
